Michael Ward - Managing Director
Michael Ward is Disttech’s Managing Director, bringing 30 years of specialised warehouse solutions to the business. Michael’s vision is to provide flexible process improvements to warehouses through long lasting partnerships with customers. His experiences span from working with ASICS, Toyota, LSKD, Zimmerman and many more. Previously General Manager at Dexion Integrated Systems, Michael founded Distribution Technologies to fulfil the need for Australian-made warehouse management solutions. Outside of the warehouse world, Michael is an avid traveller who enjoys connecting with nature.
Mike Dowd - Sales Director
As Disttech’s leading Sales Director, Mike Dowd connects his 30 years of warehousing expertise with the sales world. Mike is more than happy to guide customers through suitable solutions, no matter what industry your business is in. Prior to Disttech, Mike played a vital role in projects for customers such as Sony and Kellogg’s. Whether you’re after a warehouse consultation or interested in implementing a system, Mike is always ready to offer recommendations. Outside of warehousing, Mike enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
Dorothy Hernandez - Client Services Director
Dorothy brings high value to Disttech’s customers through her warehouse solution skills and continuous support. D orothy has built her in-depth knowledge over 20 years, through a variety of client projects including Kimberly Clark, Linfox and Toll Ipec. She assists clients on a day-to-day basis ensuring their systems are running smoothly. Dorothy enjoys a spot of retail therapy and hanging out with her fur baby.
Greg Kerr - Technical Director
Greg brings 25 years of experience to the team from electronics to materials handling. He has been part of high-level projects including most recently with ASICS & Toyota. After 18 years of experience with Dexion, Greg brings his expertise to Disttech as a technical manager. During his spare time, Greg enjoys 3D design and printing, gardening, and exploring the outdoors through camping trips across Australia
Paul Russell - Software Development Director
Originally from the UK, Paul Russel was a lecturer for Electrical Engineering and Electronics before bringing his skills into the warehouse and logistics solutions sector. Now with 20 years of experience, Paul has worked on client projects including Sistema and Harper Collins and has a deep understanding of warehouse management solutions. As Disttech’s lead Development Manager, Paul oversees all levels of our software solutions playing an integral role in building the customisations and functionalities of our systems. Paul enjoys giving back to the community through his work with the Rural Fire Service.
